Omnia in Bonum

All for the good or in the Latin “Omnia in Bonum” is a phrase that is used by many Christians to express surrender and trust in God’s providence and goodness in inconvenient or difficult situations. Omnia in Bonum are words that I can utter and assure myself that God is with me, and His grace will never fail me even if I may fail in the world’s eyes. I invite you to look at your life and see in the mishaps and trials of everyday life that God is so good, and His Providence never fails to provide for us.

Jesus is with us in our struggle, and He can give us victory. Every day is an opportunity to “take up our Cross and follow Him”.  (Matthew 16:24) We can always seek to see God at work over fretting over our fears. “The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him” (Psalm 28:7)

Remember that we have our staff open house at the Family Office in Sidney this Sunday (October 8) from 12-2 PM. This will be a great opportunity for you to see our great space. Hopefully you will be able to put a few more faces with names. See you there!

We have posted the full financials to each parish website. We apologize for any bugs and mishaps that came up. Previous years we did not have requests for more detailed reports, and we apologize for our delay in getting it posted. Thank you for your kindness and patience as we worked the situation out. We appreciate your support and your continued sacrificial giving.

Thank you to my awesome vicars and all of my brother priests. I continue to be humbled by the holiness of my brothers in the priesthood. Most of all Fr. Mondiek, Fr. Reckers, and Fr. Aaron. I could not do this without them, and I am grateful for what they have done.

Peace in Christ,

Fr. Jarred Kohn
