Pastoral Council

The Pastoral Council is comprised of 12 members of the Parish community. The parish council’s purpose is to discern what God’s will is for the family of parishes and to make recommendations to the pastor. The pastor makes a decision to act while also discerning God’s will.

Third Year Representatives: Sarah Albers (SH), Leslie Higgins (HA), Diana Paulus (SPP), Kim Ruhenkamp (SM)

Second Year Representatives: Jeff Banks (SH), Sheila Bensman (HA), Brenda Schmitmeyer (SPP), Sarah Werner (SM)

First Year Representatives: Steve Baker (HA), Paul Hoying (SH), Matt Eilerman (SM), Michelle Seger (SPP)

Finance Council

The Finance Council consists of seven parishioners who approve the parish budget, review the school budget, and present the combined budget to the pastoral council and pastor for the final ratification. They also monitor the budget throughout the year on behalf of the pastor and pastoral council.

Endowment Committee

The Holy Angels Endowment fund was organized in 1993 to collect, hold, and disburse funds for the perpetual benefit of Holy Angels Church and Holy Angels School. The committee of the Holy Angels endowment fund consists of interested parish members appointed by the Pastor and Finance Council.

The Endowment Fund has general guidelines but gifts for specific purposes are also possible. To enable the Endowment Fund to move to new levels, the pastor and committee appeal for financial support. Tax deductibles gifts are invested and the income is used to support worthy needs within the school or church.
