Knights of Columbus
The Knights of Columbus is the world's largest Catholic men's organization, founded in 1882 by Reverend Father Michael J. McGivney as a way for Catholics to provide financial assistance for the widows and orphans of its members. It was founded on the ideals of promoting the concepts of charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism, and these same ideals are promoted today.
Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month at 8:00 p.m., at the council hall at 1300 N. Fourth Ave.
Fish Fry events are the second Friday of every month, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. (except for Lent, when fish is served weekly.) Prices and menus vary based on choice of Dine-In or Drive-Thru:
DINE-IN: $12.00 per person. Includes fish, four sides, and a dinner roll.
DRIVE-THRU: $10.00 per person. Includes fish, au gratin potatoes, green beans, and a dinner roll only.
Fish Fry proceeds help us support our charitable programs. The Knights of Columbus Sidney Council 659 donated nearly $9,000 in 2021, supporting church and community activities, Seminarians, the Holy Angels Soup Kitchen, youth scholarship, and Shelby County ARC.
Catholic men aged 18 or older are invited to join. For more information, please contact Marc Fawcett at (937) 638-4227. Thank you for your support!
