Liturgical Ministries

During the Mass, there are several opportunities for volunteers. Please consider volunteering for any of them!

Lectors

The primary purpose of the lector is to proclaim the Word of the Lord at the Sunday liturgies. In addition to being on a rotating schedule for the weekend Masses, lectors may be requested to read at "special liturgies" or "prayer services" throughout the year. Yearly workshops are held to train new lectors and promote the spiritual development of the reading ministry. If interested contact Deacon Phil Myers.

*Lector must be confirmed, practicing Catholics as understood by the Church. Attire for Lectors is modest and formal. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to mass and check in with the sacristy. Lectors are responsible for finding a replacement if unable to attend Mass. Thank you for your ministry to our church!
