LITURGICAL MINISTRIES

“Nothing seems tiresome or painful when you are working for a Master who pays well; who rewards even a cup of cold water given for love of Him” – St. Dominic Savio

Please consider giving of your time and talent to our Lord through Holy Angels’ Liturgical Ministries.

LECTOR NEEDED – Would you like to proclaim the Word of God at Mass?  Holy Angels is in need of a lector for the 9:00 a.m. Mass schedule.  This commitment would include all 9:00 a.m. Sunday Masses every third month. If interested, please contact Deacon Phil at 492-1970.

EUCHARISTIC ADORATION GUARDIANS – As we begin a new liturgical year, we are updating our list of guardians for Eucharistic Adoration and encouraging Eucharistic adoration, even if you can’t commit to a specific time slot. Information and sign-up sheets will be available in church in the coming weeks; please consider this service to our parish. If you have questions, speak to a member of the Eucharistic Committee: Dan Freytag, Julia Frantz, Yolanda Clayton, Anne Schmiesing, or Missy Bennett, Coordinator of Religious Education.

USHERS NEEDED – The Usher Ministry is in need of more volunteers for our weekend Masses. The primary duties and responsibilities include welcoming parishioners, escorting them to seating if necessary, taking up the collection and distributing bulletins at the conclusion of Mass. This is a great opportunity to serve with very little time commitment required. Please contact the parish office at (937) 498-2307 if interested.

MINISTRY TO THE SICK – Assistance transporting residents to and from the chapel at Fairhaven Nursing Home for Catholic Hour is needed on the fourth Friday of each month.  This usually begins around 9:30 a.m. as Catholic Hour begins at 10:00 a.m.  If you can help with this important ministry, please contact Emily O’Leary at emily@holyangelssidney.com or 498-0433.  Thank you!
