HOLY
ANGELS SCHOOL

The
Holy Angels School Committee, along with the pastor
and principal, share the role of educational leadership
for the school community. The chief function of the
school committee is to assist in the establishment of

PARISH
ENDOWMENT COMMITTEE
The
Holy Angels Endowment fund was organized in 1993 to
collect, hold, and disburse funds for the perpetual
benefit of Holy Angels Church and Holy Angels School.
The committee of the Holy Angels endowment fund consists
of interested parish members appointed by the Pastor
and Finance Council.
The
Endowment Fund has general guidelines but gifts for
specific purposes are also possible. To enable the Endowment
Fund to move to new levels, the pastor and committee
appeal for financial support. Tax deductibles gifts
are invested and the income is used to support worthy
needs within the school or church.

WORSHIP
COMMISSION
The
Worship Commission enters into the liturgical life of
the parish community and keeps in focus the reality
that through baptism the gathered community is the foundation
of setting for the liturgy. It is the gathered community,
the assembly, which performs the liturgical actions,
not the clergy or lay ministers alone. This commission
oversees and evaluates the various liturgical ministries
including celebration of the liturgy, liturgical planning,
lectors, communion ministry, ushers, altar servers,
and music. The commission is directed toward the improvement
of the quality of our worship. The membership includes
the pastor, assistant pastor, pastoral associate, and
representatives of the liturgical ministries, as well
as other parishioners interested in fostering good worship
through rejoicing, renewing and reaching out to others.

EDUCATION
COMMISSION
The
Education Commission's purpose is to develop and define
the policies which govern the operation of the parish's
education programs and to promote the implementation
of these policies. The commission provides counsel and
advice in the operation of the education programs when
appropriate and is a coordinating body for all educational
programs for Holy Angels Parish. The Education Commission's
most important duty is the implementation, at the local
level, of policies of the Archdiocese and Archdiocesan
Commission on Education.
The
commission consists of the pastor (non-voting), director(s)
of religious education (non-voting), and nine voting
members representing various areas of the parish. Each
voting member serves a term of three years, with one
third rotating membership annually.
